Beit Issie Shapiro is happy to continue its tradition of hosting its 4th International Conference on Developmental Disabilities and Special Needs, in Israel.
Our last conference (2002) focused on Challenges and Opportunities for and concerning people with special needs, and we will continue along the same lines, this time highlighting the issue of: �Policy, Practice and Research: Partnerships for Progress�
We are building what promises to be a very interesting and challenging program with professionals and speakers in our field.
This conference is presented under the banner of our 25th Anniversary celebrations, which symbolizes many years of partnerships in activities to improve the quality of life of people with special needs. Your involvement is important to us. The conference website will keep you involved and updated and we invite you to express your thoughts and ideas and to interact with us in our Conference Forum.

Naar aanleiding van diverse tv-uitzendingen die ik de afgelopen jaren voorbij heb zien komen en waarin verschillende keren gesuggereerd wordt dat snoezelen ontstaan is op de Hartenberg in Ede schrijf ik eea op over de werkelijke beginperiode en het echte ontstaan van het snoezelen.
